Hi ladies -

It has been ages since I have been on the board.  My computer went up last year - got a new one for Christmas.  used my kids inbetween, but didn't want to tie them up for long.  So much has gone on in the meanwhile. My oldest, Lindsey is home for now - job hunting.  My middle, Kelli, is graduating in May from UNCW in North Carolina and is applying to grad schools as we speak.  My youngest graduated from HS this past June,, started college in a air traffic control program in Baltimore, but has taken this spring semester off to join the Marine Reserves - he is a Parris Island now in boot camp. I pray for him daily - I know it is hard, but I am so proud of him.  If all goes well and he doesn't get hurt in boot camp, he will be back in school in August and hopefully accepted into an officer program with the Reserves that will make him non-deployable till after college. As for me, I am still a-workin for Uncle Sam and happy to be doing so.  Look forward to getting back onto the message board now that I have my own computer again.  I have missed you all so much.

Kristi
PS - It is snowing up a storm here in MD and Crystal's Bean Soup is on the stove at this very moment - it is my favorite.

Kristi,
Welcome back. Sounds like your family is really busy. We got snow yesterday, here in Missouri. Today just looks hazy.
